Scuba diving is far different from snorkeling or underwater free-swimming and provides a great opportunity to witness underwater life in its natural habitat.

Navy Seal Scuba Diving Dive Knife & Divers Hard Sheath

Diving Knife for Scuba Diving & Snorkeling. This is a new diving knife. Great for scuba diving and snorkeling. It has a yellow cushioned handle and is made of stainless steel to prevent rust while diving. The sheath is made of hard plastic and has a belt loop with hook and loop straps for your convenience. It measures approximately 11 3/4" (29 cm) x 2" (50 mm) long and 13" (33 cm) long when inside the sheath. The blade measures approximately 6" (153 mm) long We work hard to update our descriptions and pictures of our merchandise. New 3x5 PADI Flag Scuba Dive Diving Diver Down Flags

In 1949 Denzel James Dockery used the "Baker" flag (a solid red DANGER flag) when diving as he had used it in the Navy, but the flag was not recognized by civilian marine operators. He fabricated a red flag with a white stripe running across the middle, but discovered that this flag was a copy of a National Flag used by Austria. After much research the White Stripe was moved to ren from the upper left corner to the lower right corner.

The Deep [Blu-ray]

An obvious attempt to cash in on the success of Jaws, this 1977 thriller was also based on a bestseller by Peter Benchley, and it features a memorable performance by Robert Shaw (the doomed shark hunter in Jaws) in one of the last roles of his career. Looking very tanned and healthy, Nick Nolte and Jacqueline Bisset play a young couple enjoying a tropical vacation who discover a glass ampoule while scuba diving off the coast of Bermuda. It takes a seasoned treasure hunter (Shaw) to identify the ampoule as part of a valuable shipment of World War II morphine lost at sea, coincidentally, atop the even greater treasure of a sunken Spanish galleon. Thus begins a race for drugs and treasure pitting Nolte, Bisset, and Shaw against a ruthless drug lord (Louis Gossett Jr.) who'll do anything--even resort to Haitian voodoo--to get what he wants. It's all rather contrived and exploitative (after all, the movie's best known for Bisset's wet T-shirt scuba-dive), but as escapist entertainment goes it's got some exciting highlights including a moray eel that attacks on cue and... well, uh, Jacqueline Bisset in a wet T-shirt. --Jeff Shannon
